I've been a strong advocate for my community and I'll always continue on that path.  I started out doing community service while I was in college at the University of Cincinnati.  I served two terms as the President the The Heights Community Council and served on the Neighborhood Support Program's Budget Review Committee.

After graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in Philosophy I ran, at age twenty-four, for the Ohio House of Representatives on a platform of lower taxes and stronger education.  My opponent, an incumbent who had been in elected office longer than I had been alive, was a strong candidate with great name recognition but I was able, as a relative unknown outside of Harrison, to earn nearly forty-five percent of the vote.  The ended up being the largest percentage earned by a Democratic Challenger to this seat in recent history!

This experience was rewarding and has left me with an even greater sense of pride in my community and my own achievements.  I am one who is confident in my own abilities but humbled by the support of my community.  I hope that you'll feel free to contact me so that I can put my skills to work for you!
